Schedule I v0.2.9 Shifts Rank-Ups and Trims Police Pressure

Schedule I patch v0.2.9 moves rank-up triggers to sleep cycles, limits active police vehicles, and adds new afternoon ambient music.

Developer Tyler released update v0.2.9 for Schedule I, introducing adjustments to law enforcement behavior, progression timing, and map details.

Progression and Quests

Rank-ups now occur after the daily summary when the character sleeps rather than during active gameplay. The 'On the Grind' quest has also been simplified by shortening the step to view a friend of an unlocked customer.

Law Enforcement

The maximum number of concurrent deployed police vehicles is capped at five. Officers are also easier to escape during pursuits.

World and Audio

Composer KAESUL contributed a new afternoon ambient music track. The patch also introduces the 'Thrifty Threads' clothing store interior, new pharmacy signage, and more interior decoration inside Taco Ticklers.

Bug Fixes

A fix resolves an issue where the 'product must be packaged' warning failed to work. Dealer contracts now expire correctly to prevent dealers from stopping work. Additional fixes address saving system bugs and prevent the item registry from keeping created products when exiting co-op sessions.

Why this patch matters

Update v0.2.9 addresses key progression interruptions and police vehicle counts while adding new map details and music.
