Schedule I v0.2.5 Update Adds Desperate Customers and Instant Deals

Schedule I patch v0.2.5 introduces new direct customer interactions, including desperate demands and instant sales offers. The update also adds a Gas-Mart bed to prevent night soft locks and fixes multiple co-op and police AI bugs.

Developer Tyler released patch v0.2.5 for the Schedule I demo, adding proactive customer encounters and quality-of-life adjustments. The update targets customer behavior alongside fixes for co-op functionality and law enforcement tracking.

Customer Interactions

Addicted customers who have gone without a deal will now approach players to demand a sale immediately. Players can accept, ask the customer to follow them to product, or refuse. Rejecting a violent, addicted customer can lead to an attack. Players can also approach any customer directly to propose a deal if sufficient time has passed and their relationship is strong enough.

Quality of Life and Interface Fixes

A bed now sits inside the Gas-Mart to prevent night soft-locks when the hardware store remains closed. The messages app hides conversation threads until new messages arrive, adds a delete button, and shrinks NPC type labels. Pouring soil shows the pot fill percentage, and the 3D hazmat suit is swapped for a 2D avatar texture to boost performance and stop clipping.

Bug Fixes and Police Logic

Police officers now alert each other when spotting a target, and car chase AI issues are resolved. The patch corrects Cash for Trash machines in co-op, faulty counter-offer price selectors, weed buds respawning after reloads, and mixing stations breaking when two finish the same mix at once.

Why this patch matters

Patch v0.2.5 makes customer management more active and unpredictable while clearing away frustrating soft locks and bugs.
