Schedule I Update v0.2.8 Introduces Mixing Station MK II

Schedule I update v0.2.8 adds the Mixing Station MK II with auto-insertion, increases ingredient stack limits, and fixes various bugs in the demo.

Schedule I receives its final major content addition for the demo with version v0.2.8. This patch introduces the advanced mixing station alongside stack limit increases and quality-of-life adjustments.

New Crafting Equipment

The Mixing Station MK II arrives as an upgraded crafting option. It features auto-insertion capabilities, increased mixing speed, and a higher capacity limit that processes up to 20 items simultaneously.

Gameplay Tweaks and QoL

Ingredient stack limits increase to 20 across the board. NPCs now have a harder time spotting players hiding inside dumpsters, and the third-person trash grabber pose receives visual improvements. Vehicle kinematic mode optimization distance shifts to 40 meters, metal doors use a different knock sound, and NPC avatar textures are combined in the editor to reduce memory usage. Additionally, an automatic save restoration feature protects game data and metadata against corruption or loss.

UI and Messaging Improvements

A relationship indicator joins the messages app. The shop interface fixes item ordering issues, cash slot highlights align correctly, and cash slots now cap properly at $1000. Players can no longer place items into locked NPC inventory slots.

Bug Fixes

Unnecessary NPC ragdoll states are eliminated. Customers no longer accept deal offers immediately after a rejection or keep products after declining a purchase. Unconscious NPCs can no longer open doors, and a gap in the demo barrier is patched.

Why this patch matters

Version v0.2.8 wraps up major content updates for the demo by streamlining inventory management, fixing persistent NPC behavior bugs, and introducing an automated backup system.
