Schedule I Update v0.1.16 Adds Snake, Product Addictiveness, and Police Tweaks
Schedule I update v0.1.16 brings the classic game Snake to the TV, adds an addiction system for products, and adjusts police difficulty. The patch also includes numerous bug fixes ahead of an upcoming multiplayer open beta.
Schedule I receives update v0.1.16, introducing new arcade entertainment, underlying economic mechanics, and several balance adjustments. Developer Tyler also shared plans for a multiplayer open beta in early January.
Additions and Systems
Players can now play Snake on the TV. Products now feature an addictiveness level determined by their effects, though this limit of 8 properties does not apply retroactively to existing creations. The product manager detail panel now supports scrolling, and XP is awarded for completing specific quests. Character models feature added nipples, and a trash can texture update accompanies the ability to pick up items while a trash bag is equipped.
Economy and Police Adjustments
Counter-offer difficulty is higher, police chase speed is slightly increased, and more officers are dispatched when players are wanted. Custom item amount movement is improved, unnecessary gas station store categories are removed, and snore volume is reduced.
Bug Fixes
Fixes resolve inconsistent product effects displayed across the product manager app, hotbar, and mix naming interface. Gas station store custom item dropdown errors and a time-progression bug caused by police states are corrected. Other fixes address Albert Hoover stash bugs, seed stack breaking when ordering over 10, missing quest UI animations, main menu cursor visibility, first deal expiration, equipment orientation, the Dodgy Dealing quest progression blocker, early customer friend recommendations, and an escape menu input bug.
