Schedule I Update v0.1.15 Introduces Pickpocketing and Counter-Offers
The update for Schedule I adds pickpocketing mechanics, customer counter-offers, and destructible ATMs and vending machines while adjusting weed yields, grow times, and police patrols.
Schedule I: Free Sample receives an update introducing stealth mechanics, deal-making, and environmental interaction for cash.
New Crime Mechanics
Players can crouch behind NPCs to pick pockets, which requires completing a timing task to avoid detection. Customers unhappy with initial proposals can receive counter-offers, letting dealers adjust product types, quantities, and prices. Additionally, ATMs and vending machines can be smashed open with a baseball bat for cash, though doing so breaks the machine for several days and risks police arrest if witnessed.
Quality of Life and Additions
Unconscious NPCs can be dragged around the map, and successful deals may prompt customers to recommend friends. Inventory management receives tweaks such as automatic cash slot placement when dragging money into inventory, tooltips for product ingredients, and scrolling support in the product manager app.
Economy and Police Adjustments
Weed plant base yield is increased from 6 to 8, reaching 12 when using PGR, while growth time is increased from 8 to 9 hours. Baggie and weed stack limits are doubled to 20. Police patrols see increased vehicle frequency and flashlight usage during foot patrols at night, alongside a reduced curfew fine.
Bug Fixes
The update resolves map issues, including west park path texture clipping and missing colliders in the Shred Shack. It patches an exploit that allowed players to fly by holding a crate underneath them, and ensures the Shred Shack door opens from the inside.
