Schedule I Post-Launch Patch #5 Fixes Multiplayer Crashes and Employee AI

Schedule I update v5 brings pathfinding sanity checks, employee movement refactors, and multiple multiplayer desync fixes. Players can now select display monitors, track owned vehicles on the map, and enjoy improved performance via NPC effect culling.

Post-launch patch #5 for Schedule I tackles multiplayer desync issues, employee management bugs, and performance problems linked to NPC pathfinding. The update also introduces quality-of-life additions like active display selection and map vehicle tracking.

Pathfinding and Stability Fixes

New validity checks and failsafes for NPC pathfinding prevent crashes, particularly on specific chipsets. Property null references causing multiplayer loading and desync issues are resolved, and a quest UI bug triggering infinite loading screens in multiplayer is fixed. NPC effect culling is implemented at a distance to boost performance.

Employee and Gameplay Adjustments

Botanists now automatically move product from supplies to drying racks, and employee item movement behavior is refactored for efficiency. Clipboard selections now properly reassign without requiring manual clearing of existing choices. The drying rack dry button becomes non-interactable if the input slot is reserved by an employee, and the Master Chef achievement no longer rewards prematurely.

Multiplayer and Quality of Life

Non-host clients can now correctly hit and stand in blackjack, and dealers no longer prematurely reveal hands to non-hosts. NPC stay-in-building behaviors and voiceover emitters no longer throw null reference errors for non-hosts. Players can now select which monitor the game displays on via an active display setting, and owned vehicles appear on the map app.

Why this patch matters

Patch #5 focuses heavily on backend stability, wiping out multiplayer desyncs and smoothing out automated employee tasks.
