Schedule I Post-launch Patch 4 Fixes Save Permissions and Employee Pathfinding
Schedule I post-launch patch 4 introduces a write permissions auto-checker, employee pathfinding fixes, and multiplayer reporting systems.
Post-launch patch 4 for Schedule I addresses employee AI errors, save-file writing permissions, and multiplayer connection stability.
Save Permissions and Multiplayer Diagnostics
To address saving and loading issues caused by Windows file permissions, the game now features an automatic write permissions checker that displays main menu instructions if a failure occurs. Product names are sanitized before saving to prevent file errors. Multiplayer updates include automatic bug reporting for join failures and a triggered report if loading into a multiplayer session exceeds 90 seconds.
Employee and World Fixes
Employee pathfinding bugs are resolved, alongside a fix for employees failing to place items when destinations near full capacity. Management clipboards no longer display duplicated text, and vehicle trunks stop duplicating items. Post office colliders receive collision adjustments, and the 'I'm stuck' button now functions properly in the prologue.
Why this patch matters
Patch 4 directly targets technical friction points like save permission blocks and employee navigation errors to stabilize gameplay.
