Schedule I Post-Launch Patch 3 Adds Save File Bug Reporting and Fixes Employee AI
Schedule I Post-launch Patch 3 introduces an option to attach save files directly to in-game bug reports and extends client timeout thresholds. The update also resolves employee inventory errors, black screens during sleep cycles, and trash bag persistence bugs.
Developer Tyler has released Post-launch Patch 3 for Schedule I. The update focuses on diagnostic tools to streamline bug tracking alongside fixes for employee pathing, multiplayer connectivity, and inventory management.
Bug Reporting and Diagnostic Tools
The in-game bug reporting tool now includes an option to attach your current save file, which is ticked by default. Additional categories are added for classification, while screenshot attachments are no longer selected automatically by default.
Employee and NPC Fixes
Employees no longer place non-applicable items into the ingredient slots of mixing machines. New position checks prevent invalid assignment locations for workers, resolving downstream logic errors. NPCs visiting Randy's Bait & Tackle now enter and exit correctly, and businesses stop duplicating themselves within the owned businesses list.
Save Data and Multiplayer Stability
Trash bag contents no longer disappear after saving and loading. The internal brick item is no longer created when unpackaging items at a packaging station. For multiplayer, the client timeout threshold is increased to 30 seconds to prevent late-game save loading dropouts. A bug causing a black screen when sleeping due to a null NPC list element is also fixed.
Why this patch matters
Patch 3 provides infrastructure for community bug reporting while shoring up critical inventory and employee logic failures that impacted long-term saves.
