Schedule I Patch v0.2.2 Refines Co-Op Progression and Fixes Client Bugs
Schedule I update v0.2.2 brings intro skipping, a new skate park dead drop, and several fixes for non-host clients in the open beta.
The second co-op open beta update for Schedule I focuses on smoothing out multiplayer issues and adding quality-of-life additions like intro skipping. Developer Tyler also notes this release precedes one final patch before testing a public default branch release.
Multiplayer and Client Fixes
Several major bugs affecting non-host clients are resolved in this update. Clients now save automatically immediately after character creation. The patch fixes deal windows incorrectly showing apostrophes, prevents expired contracts from keeping active responses, and corrects dealer contracts displaying as player contracts. Additionally, message response sounds no longer play globally for other players.
World Additions
Players can now skip the game intro entirely. The skate park receives a new fence and a fresh dead drop location. Uncle Nelson's cash stash has been relocated to this new skate park dead drop. A new and improved pay phone model is also added to the world, alongside a consistent cash amount selector UI.
General Tweaks
Interface adjustments move the hint popup to the right side of the screen. At the mixing station, janky liquid pouring animations are fixed.
Why this patch matters
Patch v0.2.2 directly targets frustrating synchronization errors for non-host players while cleaning up world interactions ahead of the co-op branch rollout.
