Schedule I CO-OP Patch 3 Overhauls Dialogue and Police Mechanics

Schedule I co-op patch 3 replaces automatic mobile calls from Uncle Nelson with payphones, adds a pickpocketing alert for police, and grants a 15-minute curfew grace period.

Co-op open beta testers for Schedule I receive the third update, which refactors demo quest communication and addresses police behavior bugs.

Quest Communication

Demo quests no longer trigger automatic incoming mobile calls from Uncle Nelson. Players must initiate contact by using a payphone when ready, removing forced information dumps and giving players control over progression timing.

Law Enforcement

Police notice when players attempt pickpocketing. Officers receive a 15-minute tolerance window before enforcing the curfew. Bug fixes address issues where police notice icons became stuck.

Multiplayer Fixes

Non-host clients correctly replicate the ready-to-sleep status. NPCs enter buildings properly on newly joined client connections, and avatar hand distortion during fist curls is mitigated.

Why this patch matters

The third co-op patch removes intrusive phone calls in favor of player-initiated payphone interactions while cleaning up multiplayer synchronization errors.
