PEAK. Patch v2.5.a Fixes Death on Reconnect and Citadel Save Bugs
PEAK. update v2.5.a resolves several severe bugs including post-reconnect deaths, Citadel save progression errors, and skeleton loading issues. The patch also includes mesh optimizations and menu adjustments.
PEAK. has received patch v2.5.a, targeting critical stability issues with player reconnections and save states. The update addresses bugs that incorrectly applied death states or killed skeleton characters upon loading.
Stability and Save Fixes
Players who reconnect to a session will no longer return dead if they were alive when disconnected. Loading a save from the Citadel campfire now correctly allows players to earn the Medieval History badge. A bug that instantly killed players who reconnected or loaded a save as a skeleton is resolved. Additionally, connection attempts to cross-region lobbies no longer trap players on the loading screen, and entering invalid room codes no longer breaks menu buttons.
World and Performance Adjustments
Cloned items containing fuel no longer spontaneously recharge. Visual artifacts on lava streams within the Kiln are fixed, and several meshes in the final biome received optimization passes. Players leaving an anti-sphere take reduced fall damage, and the original menu music is restored.
Why this patch matters
Patch v2.5.a tackles progression blockers and death bugs, smoothing out the core multiplayer and save loop.
