Myst Patch 2.0.6 Fixes Crashes, Clocktower Puzzle, and VR Controls

Patch 2.0.6 for Myst addresses startup crashes with ray tracing, clocktower puzzle logic, and multiple VR-specific interaction bugs.

The latest patch for Myst addresses stability issues across standard and VR modes while fixing several puzzle and audio bugs.

Stability and Crash Fixes

The update resolves a potential startup crash that occurred on certain machine configurations when ray tracing was enabled. It also fixes random crashes tied to exiting the game with DLSS active, moving quickly between areas with different music tracks, and camera fades involving vehicle transitions or clipping.

Puzzle and Audio Corrections

The clocktower puzzle now correctly represents randomized solutions with its clock hands, and gamepad controls for the puzzle function properly. Audio sync has been fixed for the Myst Island linking book video intro, and various environment sounds and footstep noises now play correctly during rapid movement across Myst Island and Stoneship.

VR Improvements

VR players receive improved dial interactions and better grip locations for holding books. Force-teleport spots in teleport mode now transport players to the exact required location.

Why this patch matters

Patch 2.0.6 provides essential crash fixes and cleans up lingering audio and puzzle discrepancies for both standard and VR players.
