Mechabellum Update 1.2.0.3 Adjusts Raiden Balance and Pricing
Mechabellum update 1.2.0.3 nerfs Raiden attack speed and DPS, adjusts unit pricing for multiple units, and reduces Quantum Reassembly resurrection time for Phoenix.
Season 2 of Mechabellum continues with a balance pass focused on the Raiden unit following recent tournament results.
Raiden Balance Adjustments
Raiden attack interval increases from 4.2 seconds to 4.6 seconds, lowering its DPS by 8.7 percent to reduce efficiency against small and high-health units. Its base price increases from 250 to 300. Raiden no longer jumps to buildings, and its post-jump damage decreases from 30 percent to 25 percent, meaning jump damage no longer kills Phoenixes of the same rank.
Unit Price and Tech Tweaks
The price of one unit increases from 200 to 300 following strong recent performance. Another unit price drops from 200 to 100 to weaken mid-sized performance while improving effectiveness against giant units. The price of a specific tech decreases from 300 to 250 to encourage higher pick rates.
Phoenix and Bug Fixes
The resurrection time for the Phoenix Quantum Reassembly ability drops from 15 seconds to 12 seconds. Sabertooth sound effects are optimized, and a bug where Raiden attacks hit cloaked Phantom Rays is resolved.
Why this patch matters
Update 1.2.0.3 applies economic and combat nerfs to the Raiden to curb its dominance against small targets and structures.
