Mechabellum Update 1.1.2 Adjusts Unit Balance and Adds Amplify Specialist
Mechabellum Update 1.1.2 introduces the Amplify Specialist, rebalances high-win-rate units like the Typhoon and Tarantula, and fixes player HP bonuses for opening configurations.
Mechabellum Update 1.1.2 arrives with balance adjustments targeting high-MMR units, a new opening specialist, and fixes for configuration errors that skewed player health bonuses.
New Specialist and Unit Balance
The Amplify Specialist joins the roster, providing three small amplifying cores for free in the first round. Balance adjustments target high-MMR outliers. Typhoon HP drops by 5% to 9,529, its cost decreases to 250, and its HP bonus drops to -300. Vulcan attack increases slightly while its HP decreases by 2%. Tarantula costs increase for both the unit itself and its upgrades to curb its strength in high-MMR matches.
Opening Adjustments and Bug Fixes
Opening unit combinations receive adjustments to player HP bonuses. Crawler and Mustang openings gain 100 extra HP, while Marksman and Mustang and Fang and Steel Ball openings increase by 200 HP. Conversely, Fang and Tarantula and Crawler and Tarantula openings lose HP bonuses. Bug fixes resolve configuration errors that inflated Stormcaller opening win rates and made Overlord missiles difficult to intercept.
Why this patch matters
Update 1.1.2 targets dominant high-MMR strategies and corrects opening stat anomalies to create a more balanced tactical environment.
