Mechabellum Update 1.1.1 Adjusts Combat Power and Unit Balance

Mechabellum update v1.1.1 overhauls the Combat Power system ahead of Season 2, adds a free unit specialist, introduces new unit variants, and implements wide-ranging balance changes.

Update v1.1.1 for Mechabellum prepares the game for Season 2 by removing Combat Power loss for most players, introducing a new early-game specialist, and adjusting unit costs and statistics.

Combat Power System Overhaul

Players outside the global top 200 no longer lose Combat Power upon defeat and receive increased Combat Power gains for victories. Players inside the top 200 can lose up to 600 Combat Power per battle.

New Specialist and Variants

A new specialist grants two free units on round two. The Phantom Ray unit gains a variant that increases range by 20 at the cost of 40% health. The Sandworm gains a variant that reduces recruitment cost by 100 while decreasing attack and health by 30% each.

Unit Balance and Cost Adjustments

Crawler health drops from 292 to 277, and Overlord health decreases from 16099 to 15294. Specific unit technology costs are adjusted, including reductions for Wraith support, Scorpion range upgrades, and select Phantom Ray and Sledgehammer upgrades, alongside increased experience requirements for Sledgehammers.

Card and Equipment Tweaks

High-level Sandworm card costs are increased to curb their late-game impact. The Nano Repair Kit equipment card moves from level 2 to level 3.

Why this patch matters

Update 1.1.1 shifts the competitive ladder for the general player base while targeting dominant high-MMR strategies and unit outliers ahead of Season 2.
