Mechabellum Update 0.9.0 Introduces Farseer and Tech Loadouts
Mechabellum Update 0.9.0 adds the rare support unit Farseer, Tech Loadout configuration, and a Promote All button alongside extensive unit balance adjustments. The patch also revamps card visuals and updates several specialist rules.
Mechabellum Update 0.9.0 deploys a wide array of new features, quality-of-life improvements, and combat balancing. The centerpiece of the patch is the rare support vehicle Farseer, supported by new tech loadout tools and unit promotion shortcuts.
New Features and System Updates
Players can now configure distinct Tech loadouts for different game modes using the new Tech Loadout feature. A medal system lets commanders collect and display medals earned through tournaments, with more acquisition methods planned later. The new Promote All button allows players to upgrade multiple eligible units of the same type simultaneously. Furthermore, round-appearing specialists are replaced with intuitive buff cards and visuals.
Farseer and Unit Changes
The Farseer arrives as a rare support vehicle equipped with multiple missile launchers to provide tactical support to nearby units. Balance adjustments alter several heavy units: Vulcan attack power decreases from 93 to 90, and its attack bonus drops from 125 percent to 100 percent. Mustang and Fangs attack power increase by 6 percent and 4 percent respectively. Typhoon attack rises from 84 to 88. Sandworm hit points decrease from 51,205 to 48,645, its recruitment cost drops from 250 to 150, and its associated larvae now match the parent Sandworm rank.
War Factory and Production Tweaks
War Factory production limits and costs receive multiple adjustments. The first upgrade tier sees its production limit increased from 5 to 6 while cost drops from 350 to 300. The second tier increases production limit from 9 to 11 with cost decreasing from 300 to 250. The third tier increases production limit from 12 to 17 while cost drops from 250 to 200.
Specialists and Variants
New specialists include a round 2 option granting a free Rank 1 Sabertooth and a round 3 option providing a free Rank 1 Farseer. Initial specialist marksman availability shifts to round 2, and its stat bonus increases from 10 percent to 13 percent. Tarantula variants receive changes: one variant increases movement speed by 5, attack by 20 percent, and HP by 20 percent while raising recruitment cost by 50, while another allows immediate recruitment of a Rank 3 Tarantula.
Why this patch matters
Update 0.9.0 meaningfully improves interface convenience with loadout tools and bulk upgrades while recalibrating unit power across the board.
