Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades Update 116 Patch 1

Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades Update 116 Patch 1 adds two unusual firearms, the Glem 1 Glarand and Mac 11 Ripcord. The update also implements mortar safety adjustments and fixes a long list of metadata, collision, and animation errors.

Developer Anton Hand has dropped Update 116 Patch 1 for Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, introducing two new experimental weapons alongside a practical batch of weapon fixes, collision passes, and UI updates for VR players.

New Firearms and Mortar Adjustments

The armory expands with two new additions: the Glem 1 Glarand and the Mac 11 Ripcord. Alongside these weapons, the mortar now triggers full sonic and visual explosive reaction effects if fired while the player's head rests above the plane defined by the muzzle.

Quality of Life and Navigation Fixes

To prevent frustrating progression blockers, a Go Back One Room button has been added to the scoreboard, stopping soft locks on specific game difficulties. The popgun is also properly restored to the item spawner with correct gravity settings.

Weapon and Equipment Corrections

Numerous hardware touch-ups fix structural issues across the arsenal. The HR Handy Gun receives a fix for a broken piece, the P12 virtual stock point and rails are corrected, and the M1900 hammer animation now plays properly. Other fixes resolve the BoysAT ejection direction, metadata errors on the KS23 and PVS-2, barrel collision on the XM177e2, and various UI display bugs.

Why this patch matters

This minor patch cleans up lingering issues from previous holiday weapon additions while delivering a couple of unpredictable firearms for players to test.
