HELLDIVERS 2 Patch 1.001.103 Fixes Gas Immunity and Crashes

HELLDIVERS 2 update 1.001.103 patches crashes tied to stim pistols and hellpod skins, fixes a heavy armor gas immunity bug, and rebalances enemy audio.

Arrowhead Game Studios has pushed patch v1.001.103 for HELLDIVERS 2. The update addresses specific crash conditions, adjusts heavy armor mechanics, and rebalances audio across enemy factions.

Crash Fixes

The patch resolves a crash triggered when a unique stim pistol owner leaves an active session. It also fixes a crash that occurred when equipping purchased hellpod skins on a fresh account.

Gameplay and Combat Fixes

A bug granting heavy armor wearers complete immunity to the gas status effect has been removed. Players can no longer call down multiple seismic probes and prospecting drills simultaneously. Additionally, Automaton units on evacuate high-value asset missions will get stuck shooting at walls less frequently.

Audio Rebalancing

Bug and Bot enemy audio has been cleaned up and rebalanced. The changes focus primarily on enemy vocalizations and movement sounds, with the goal of making audio cues more consistent and audible during chaotic encounters.

Why this patch matters

Patch 1.001.103 is a targeted maintenance update that resolves a couple of frustrating crashes and closes a prominent armor exploit while acoustic tweaks roll out to enemy factions.
