Worming from Home update 1.0.4 adds a printer tray extension, shop app peripheral switching, and fixes several movement exploits. The patch also adjusts keyboard and mouse upgrade effectiveness.

The 1.0.4 update for Worming from Home targets common player feedback regarding office equipment handling and movement mechanics. Developers Zach and Mason deployed this patch alongside crossing the 1,000 reviews milestone on Steam.

Hardware and Shop Adjustments

Players can now flip down a tray extension on the Printer to simplify moving items up to the scanner. The Shop App now permits switching between different keyboards and mice. Several keyboard and mouse upgrades received tuning, including preventing multiple key presses on the touch keyboard, making dice easier to use on the slim keyboard, and reshaping the wormgonomic mouse slightly to improve clicking.

Physics and Movement Fixes

The trampoline is now more difficult to clip into. The exploit allowing players to reset their double jump by pausing the game has been removed, though cups remain available for aerial movement.
