War Thunder Update v2.43.0.112 Fixes Air Tutorials and Weapon Damage

War Thunder Update v2.43.0.112 fixes a bug in air tutorial missions, adds damage tracking to jammed weapons, and resolves persistent mine-dropping issues in naval battles. The patch also addresses multiple graphical glitches involving cockpit MFD reflections and night vision HUD glare.

War Thunder Update v2.43.0.112 tackles several community-reported bugs across air, ground, and naval modes. The patch fixes progression blockers in tutorials, updates weapon mechanics, and smooths out visual anomalies on specific winter ground textures and medium-setting water reflections.

Progression and Gameplay Fixes

Air tutorial missions that previously stalled due to missing balloon targets now function correctly, allowing players to complete them. In naval battles, a bug that caused players to accidentally drop mines immediately upon respawning after dying while deploying mines has been fixed. For ground vehicles including the Pantsir-S1, Tor-M1, and HQ17, switching targets no longer preserves the old camera offset, ensuring the camera centers directly on the new target.

Weapon Damage Mechanics

Jammed weapons now sustain damage upon jamming. These weapons are explicitly marked as damaged in the X-ray view, giving players clear visual confirmation of their weapon status during combat.

Graphics and Interface Adjustments

Cockpit glass Multi-Function Display reflections now accurately match the active image on the MFD. Water reflection distortions on medium and lower quality settings are resolved, and ground texture flickering on the Seversk-13 winter map has been eliminated. The cockpit HUD no longer becomes overly bright when night vision is active, making interface markings legible. Additionally, the night vision device enable key prompt no longer appears in views where the feature is unavailable.

Why this patch matters

Update v2.43.0.112 delivers targeted bug fixes that clear up gameplay anomalies and visual clutter without altering core vehicle balances.
