War Thunder Update v2.39.0.51 Fixes Missile Guidance and Sight Bugs
War Thunder update v2.39.0.51 addresses missile tracking issues against countermeasures, fixes camera and sight display errors, and adjusts mission point multipliers across ground and air modes.
Update v2.39.0.51 for War Thunder brings targeted fixes for aircraft ordnance, ground vehicle optics, and audio bugs alongside adjustments to mission point rewards.
Aircraft and Missile Fixes
The AV-8B (NA) targeting pod camera view now correctly reflects its actual directional limits. Laser beam-riding and semi-automatic guidance missiles no longer lose tracking when targets rapidly release flares and chaff. Additionally, a bug preventing secondary weapons from rendering on repaired wings after reloading before repair completion has been resolved.
Ground Vehicles and Interface
Vehicles equipped with unguided rockets, such as the 38 cm Sturmmörser, now properly display their gun-sights after players reset options in the Sight settings menu. A separate crash issue affecting ground battles when players rapidly switch between gunner and commander views has also been fixed.
Audio and Economy Adjustments
Random, unrelated audio pops occurring over distances greater than two to five kilometers from any sound source have been eliminated. Meanwhile, mission point multipliers have been updated: Ground Arcade Battles rise from 0.93 to 1.0, Air Simulator Battles drop from 3.0 to 2.3, and Ranks I through III move from 0.8 to 0.9.
Why this patch matters
Update v2.39.0.51 provides reliability fixes for guided munitions and interface stability while recalibrating point earnings across select modes.
