War Thunder Update 2.59.0.46 Adjusts Aircraft Ordnance and Fixes Nuclear Escalation Logistics
War Thunder's latest update recalibrates bomb masses for British aircraft, fixes missing modifications on international jets, and resolves several convoy movement bugs in Nuclear Escalation. It also corrects an audio issue on the PGZ88 and cleans up erroneous mission points.
Update 2.59.0.46 brings targeted tweaks to aircraft payload statistics, vehicle modifications, and logistics behavior within Nuclear Escalation missions. The patch addresses community bug reports ranging from incorrect bomb masses to stuck AI convoys.
Aircraft Ordnance and Loadout Corrections
The 540 lb bomb mass for the AircraftMk.M2 has increased from 213 kg to 255 kg, accompanied by a more detailed visual model based on official aircrew manuals for the Jaguar GR.1A and T.2A. Meanwhile, the H.E. M.C. 540 lb explosive mass drops from 97 kg to 94 kg. On the modification side, the Israeli F-86E(M) receives its missing AIM-9B missile modification, resolving a bug that required incorrect prerequisite unlocks for both the missiles and 1000 lb bombs. Armored glass has also been restored to the German and USSR variants of the P-47D.
Nuclear Escalation Logistics and Flow
Several convoy snags in Nuclear Escalation are resolved. Convoys will no longer stall after completing running gear repairs, and vehicles with knocked-out drivers resume moving once a crew member swaps in. Oncoming convoys also stop blocking each other on roads. Supply lines are more robust: supply columns transport 50% more cargo, factory production runs 25% faster, and tactical assembly depots hold 50% more resources. Additionally, a bug where stronghold garrison tanks registered as active convoys and blocked fresh dispatches from armored vehicle depots is fixed.
UI, Audio, and Economy Tweaks
Ground vehicle audio receives a fix, with the PGZ88 cannon volume lowered. In ground battles, players will no longer receive mission points upon death when destroyed by AI-controlled aircraft, ensuring those points remain exclusive to player or named bot kills. The Object 416 loses its mistakenly assigned artillery support modification, with spent Silver Lions and Golden Eagles automatically refunded to affected players.
Why this patch matters
Update 2.59.0.46 provides quality-of-life adjustments, making Nuclear Escalation logistics reliable while tidying up historical loadout errors and scoring anomalies.
