War Thunder Update 2.45.0.21 Fixes TWS Radar and XM246 Armor
War Thunder update 2.45.0.21 resolves TWS radar tracking bugs and fixes armor and damage model issues on the XM246. The patch also updates interface elements for purchasing research modifications and limits recycled item creation.
War Thunder update 2.45.0.21 addresses several targeted bugs for aircraft, ground vehicles, and user interface elements.
Aircraft Radar Fixes
A bug that prevented players from moving the radar scan zone vertically and horizontally in TWS mode is fixed. Cyclic target switching no longer allows selection of targets outside the active scan zone. The horizontal target cue control axis and radar tilt control axis are now synchronized with automatic scan zone shifts during tracking. Additionally, a bug that compressed the weaponry MFD page horizontally on the F/A-18A has been resolved.
Ground Vehicles and Maps
Armor inaccuracies on the XM246 have been corrected, and its search radar retraction now registers properly in the damage model. Turret machine gun aiming angles for the vehicle are also adjusted. On the Sands of Sinai map, small rocks blocking the passageway at grid square C5 have been removed, and high-altitude ground textures across all Sinai missions no longer appear mosaic.
Interface Updates
When a new modification is researched after a match, the purchase window now displays a button to buy all researched modifications rather than a general purchase-all option. The nation discount label in collapsed research trees now displays properly. Furthermore, creating new items from recycled ones is capped at 100 per action to keep item lists readable.
Why this patch matters
Update 2.45.0.21 provides practical fixes for high-tier aircraft radar mechanics and cleans up interface annoyances.
