War Thunder Update 2.45.0.12 Fixes Aircraft and Naval Bugs
Gaijin Entertainment has released update 2.45.0.12 for War Thunder, addressing aircraft afterburners, overheating engines, and naval pumping bugs.
Gaijin Entertainment has deployed update 2.45.0.12 for War Thunder. The patch fixes vehicle bugs, resolves graphical anomalies involving thermals and smoke, and adjusts naval mechanics.
Aircraft Flight and Engine Fixes
All variants of the MiG-29 no longer suffer from a bug that disabled the afterburner in maneuver mode. The engine name for the Harrier T.10 has been corrected. A bug causing rapid engine overheating at high altitudes has been resolved for the F-100 series, F-1, T-2 series, Super Mystere B2, and Sambad.
UAV and Weapon Display Corrections
Scout UAV radar cross section has been increased to 0.005 m^2. A bug affecting MFD weapon screens, the HUD, and the HMD has been fixed, preventing them from displaying weapons from previous spawns when deploying without secondary weapons.
Naval and Audio Adjustments
The USS Northampton no longer suffers from a water pumping bug that caused the ship to flood faster. Stat cards for the vessel now correctly display all equipped depth charge types instead of just one. Additionally, the frequency of voice lines describing firing results has been reduced.
Graphics and UI Corrections
A bug allowing players to see vehicles through smoke using a UAV camera with thermals enabled has been resolved. Another fix restores the picture-in-picture UAV camera display on the DirectX12 API when running in old videocard support mode.
Why this patch matters
Update 2.45.0.12 delivers targeted fixes for vehicle performance and visual exploits, addressing community bug reports for air and naval units.
