War Thunder Update 2.43.0.31 Adjusts Aircraft Weight and Fixes Naval Flooding

War Thunder Update 2.43.0.31 lowers empty mass for select jets, corrects HMS Rodney flooding, and refines Rafale C F3 missile datalinks.

Update 2.43.0.31 brings targeted adjustments to aircraft weight calculations, avionics indications, and naval physics in War Thunder. Several top-tier jets receive empty mass reductions, while interface bugs and specific vehicle handling quirks are ironed out across air and naval modes.

Aircraft Mass and Avionics Adjustments

The Typhoon GR.4, EF-2000, and F-2000A have lower empty mass values because countermeasures are no longer factored into their baseline weight. Additionally, infrared air-to-air missile seeker indications are now visible on the HUD and HMD for the Typhoon GR.4, EF-2000, F-2000A, and Rafale C F3. The Rafale C F3 also receives an increase to eight datalink channels for MICA-EM missiles alongside the removal of vertical coverage dead zones for its MAWS.

Naval Physics and Air Battles Fixes

HMS Rodney receives a fix to its ship flooding system. Flooded bow compartments no longer create critical trim problems that caused the bow to submerge and block main caliber gun arcs. In Air Simulator Battles, a bug that caused certain aircraft to roll backward when spawning on airfields after rearming has been resolved, and dropped aircraft mines no longer decelerate abnormally near water.

Interface and Quality of Life Corrections

The EF-2000 targeting pod camera now correctly switches via the Targeting Optics View control. The login screen now accurately displays the Caps Lock state even if toggled outside the game window. Furthermore, interface errors regarding vehicle search names in the Favorite vehicle profile showcase and incorrect ownership markers on vehicles acquired from Snow globes are fixed.

Why this patch matters

This update provides clean, functional adjustments that improve realism for jet physics and fix frustrating vehicle and interface bugs.
