War Thunder Update 2.41.0.55 Tweaks HUD, Missiles, and Player Reports

War Thunder Update 2.41.0.55 fixes aircraft landing bugs, adjusts missile and targeting pod restrictions on US jets, updates cannon audio profiles, and limits complaint spam in matches.

Gaijin Entertainment has rolled out Update 2.41.0.55 for War Thunder, tackling vehicle bugs, interface inconsistencies, and audio issues. The patch addresses loadout restrictions on American jets, fixes target acquisition failures on targeting pods, and caps single-match report spam between players.

Aircraft Loadouts and Targeting

The F-15E and F-15I Ra am no longer face restrictions when using AIM-7 missiles alongside drop tanks. Players can deploy the GBU-38 on the center fuselage pylon, which required changes to preset weapon loadouts. Target acquisition failures when descending at steep angles with targeting pods are resolved, and AIM-7 or AIM-120 missiles can be used on conformal fuel tanks while a targeting pod is installed. Additionally, the Tornado GR.4 fixes an issue with AIM-9 HUD indication displays, the Su-34 corrects its Kh-38 missile launch sequence, and China s F-104G swaps its PS-03 radar for the NASSAR.

General Gameplay and Physics Fixes

Aircraft landing on new airfields without landing gear no longer jump and crash unexpectedly. In the Assault. Air Arcade mode, a bug causing AI aircraft to spawn inside each other and trigger destructive collisions is resolved.

Interface and Reporting Changes

Squadron main pages now display all selected squadron vehicle rewards, and players who leave a squadron immediately lose their squadron tag. VR mode receives fixes for missing prompts regarding vehicle abandonment and air event starts, while Simulator Battles restores the missing hint for leaving the battle zone. In the player profile window, the Service Record tab no longer resets the selected mode when opened before the Statistics tab. Players are now limited in how many complaints they can file against the same user in a single battle.

Audio Updates

ADEN, DEFA, and T160 aircraft cannons now feature audio profiles matching their caliber. Enemy and ally gunfire is easier to hear through closed aircraft canopies at low frequencies when shots are fired close to the player aircraft.

Why this patch matters

Update 2.41.0.55 delivers practical quality-of-life adjustments for high-tier jet pilots and cleans up long-standing UI and audio quirks.
