War Thunder Update 2.41.0.26 Adjusts Jet Speeds and Fixes Crashes

War Thunder update 2.41.0.26 updates top-tier jet flight models, fixes radar target marker bugs, and resolves a performance-dropping DLSS conflict.

Gaijin Entertainment has released War Thunder update 2.41.0.26, implementing community-reported bug fixes and vehicle adjustments across ground and air forces.

Aircraft Flight Model and Weapon Adjustments

The F-15E and F-15I Ra’am maximum speed at ground level drops to roughly Mach 1.28 without external stores, with adjusted top speeds between 3km and 12km altitudes. The Swedish MiG-21 Bis drop-tank fuel quantity error is corrected, and the JAS39A and JAS39C now feature proper capture stabilization for AGM-65G missiles. Weapons and countermeasures can now be deployed above specified Mach drop limits, and helicopter gun rates of fire are adjustable again.

Ground Vehicles and Radar Fixes

Ground vehicle radars no longer display target markers carried over from previous matches. A bug causing wagons and trains to register as enemies is fixed, and ground vehicle spawns no longer drop players beneath the center of the map.

Graphics, Settings, and Interface Fixes

A critical performance-drop bug involving DLSS is resolved. Previously, selecting DLSS incorrectly blocked FXAA and SSAA settings, forcing SSAA 4x on in the background. Post-effect sharpening, VSync switching from windowed to full-screen mode, and minimum-graphics afterburner flame effects are now functioning properly.

Why this patch matters

Update 2.41.0.26 cleans up a range of frustrating visual and gameplay bugs, most notably returning performance stability to players using DLSS alongside anti-aliasing options.
