War Thunder Update 2.39.0.15 Patch Notes
War Thunder Update 2.39.0.15 introduces GBU-31 JDAMs for the F-16C Block 40 Barak II, corrects aircraft operator countries, and resolves graphics bugs.
War Thunder Update 2.39.0.15 brings targeted adjustments to aircraft weapon loadouts, naval reloading speeds, map environmental destructibility, and graphics performance settings.
Aircraft and Naval Changes
The operator country for the Su-24M is corrected to Russia. The F-16C Block 40 Barak II now supports GBU-31 JDAM bombs on internal pylons. The JF-17 has a fix for abnormal aircraft behavior when rudders were fully deflected in mouse aim mode. Reloading time for the 7.7 mm Darne machine gun on VTB boats is decreased to 5.2 seconds.
Map Destruction and Environment
Wind settings for small birch trees are adjusted to look natural. Armor-piercing and armor-piercing high-explosive shells can now properly destroy and penetrate objects like garages, kiosks, and parking posts on maps such as Seversk-13 and Abandoned City.
Interface and Settings Fixes
A sight settings bug where custom reticles failed to display when no saved sights existed is resolved. A character restriction was added for naming and saving sight configurations. The rangefinder section features a transparent background across all channels outside of NVG and Thermal. An issue causing game language settings to mismatch the current interface language upon startup is fixed.
Graphics Fixes
Enabling DLSS now properly disables SSAA, eliminating unintended frame rate drops. A bug causing tank models to display as low-poly at close range is fixed.
Why this patch matters
This minor update targets reported visual hitches, equipment loadout errors, and structural physics on older maps.
