Wandering Sword v1.23.22 Update Adds One-Tap Meridians and New Elixirs
Wandering Sword update v1.23.22 introduces a one-tap meridian breakthrough tool, new recovery elixirs, and an expanded soundtrack. The patch also tackles several companion unlock bugs, quest softlocks, and combat balancing adjustments.
The latest patch for Wandering Sword brings quality-of-life adjustments aimed at streamlining character progression alongside bug fixes for multiple quests and encounters. Players can now upgrade meridians instantly and purchase fresh restorative items from NPC vendors.
Progression and Convenience
A new One-Tap Meridian Breakthrough button lets players fully upgrade any meridian instantly as long as they have enough points available. Yuan Ji at the Wudang Sect now sells three new recovery elixirs: Primordial Elixir, Celestial Elixir, and Supreme Yin-Yang Elixir, which restore minor, major, or all Qi and True Qi. The soundtrack also gains new tracks from The Echoes of Ash and Dust update.
Combat and Skill Tuning
The Xuanxu Saberplay skill receives slightly improved effects. Cloud-Capped Leap gains a level 1 effect that boosts all Wudang Sect moves by 15 percent for two turns after use, and a level 5 effect that adds two to three layers of Agility per turn. The Tianji Legacy tree receives the Star-Treading Steps lightness skill. Additionally, the first battle of the Xuanhuo Cult main storyline now ends after 5 turns, while the initial encounter with Zhao An at Pili School extends its combat duration from 10 to 15 turns.
Quest and Progression Fixes
Fixes address several broken quest states, including the Evergreen Vitality Mastery challenge which previously stayed marked as incomplete after finishing, and the Yuwu Branch tutorial where interacting with Cheng Wanqing after her death failed to drop the Eight Trigrams of Roving Tiger manual. Companion guide unlocking conditions are revised so visiting Jiang Xiaotong immediately unlocks her profile, and guides with multiple branches now unlock upon completing any single branch.
World and System Adjustments
A new setting option lets players control whether Overcomer and Apex Challenger difficulty expansions apply during ally-only battles. Map errors and collision issues are cleared up in Buddha’s Hollow, Mount Windless, and the Wudang Forbidden Area. Terminology for critical resistance is now standardized across all skill and buff descriptions, replacing older variations like anti-critical.
