Wandering Sword update v1.23.24 introduces a fishing guide, pre-battle auto-saves for consecutive encounters, and a wide array of quest and skill corrections.
New Features and Quality of Life
A new fishing guide displays all fishing pools and tracks whether players successfully caught each fish, accessible via the skill menu. Auto-saves trigger during consecutive battles in the main story, including fights against Buddha's Hollow, Kama, and Helian Fubi. Snowlock's Legacy grants the Crimson Hexablaze sword and Winter's Chill fist martial arts for players who already inherited it.
Quest and World Fixes
Numerous quest progression bugs are resolved, including an issue where Li Wuqing triggered dialogue prematurely in Troupe History and a bug preventing players from leaving Pili School after completing the main quest. Unskippable CG sequences, incorrect NPC locations, and stuck states on the main map are also fixed.
Combat and Skill Balancing
Several martial arts skill descriptions and mechanics are corrected, including adjustments to the Flick Technique level 10 effect, Beidou Swordplay chain damage, and Mara's Six Perceptions area damage affecting allies. Unparalleled Strike no longer enters cooldown incorrectly when triggering combos with red extra difficulty enabled.
Interface and Item Corrections
The Primordial Elixir, Celestial Elixir, and Supreme Yin-Yang Elixir prevent use when players are at full health. Di Zui returns equipped accessories to the protagonist's inventory upon gaining the Bodhi Prayer Beads. Additional text errors, font display issues, and interface clipping bugs across the alchemy and inventory screens are addressed.
