Valheim Public Test Patch 0.220.3 Fixes Multiplayer Protection and UI Bugs

Valheim receives a new public test update addressing multiplayer shielding bugs and interface hiding behaviors. The patch also improves version mismatch messaging for server browsers.

A new test update for Valheim is now available on the Public Test branch. Patch 0.220.3 rolls out fixes for multiplayer protection scaling, interface visibility shortcuts, and connection error handling.

Multiplayer and Connection Fixes

The Staff of Protection now correctly shields other players during multiplayer sessions. Additionally, attempting to join a server running an incompatible game version now displays the correct version warning instead of an incorrect crossplatform error message.

Interface Adjustments

Using the keyboard shortcut to hide the user interface will now also conceal the sailing and pause menus. Players using gamepads will see a brief notification message whenever they toggle the interface visibility.
