Valheim Patch 0.219.13 Introduces The Bog Witch Trader and Feast Crafting
Iron Gate brings The Bog Witch update to all Valheim players, adding a new swamp trader, craftable feasts, three progression skills, and a suite of homesteading tools. The update also shifts meads and uncooked foods to dedicated workbenches.
Valheim expands its survival sandbox with Patch 0.219.13, known as The Bog Witch. Moving out of the public test branch, the update populates the Swamps with a new merchant, introduces collaborative feast meals, adds three new skills for farming, cooking, and crafting, and reworks how meads and raw food are produced.
New Trader and Swamps Content
Players can track down The Bog Witch merchant located in the Swamps biome. The vendor sells sixteen new crafting materials, three clothing pieces including the Harvest Tunic and Harvest Dress, a straw hat, and items like a Love Potion. A ghost event is also added to the game world.
Feasts and New Skills
Eight large feasts can be prepared to feed multiple players with long-lasting buffs. Three new skills debut: Cooking reduces food preparation time and grants a chance for bonus food items; Farming lowers cultivator stamina costs and increases crop harvest yields; Crafting reduces build placement stamina costs and item crafting times.
Crafting Station Reworks
Recipes for mead bases move from the standard Cauldron to the new Mead Ketill workbench. Uncooked food items are crafted at the Food Preparation Table instead of the Cauldron. Players can utilize the Serving Tray to place any consumable item as a build piece, and the Scythe to speed up crop harvesting.
Quality of Life and Adjustments
Holding shift or the left stick enables crafting five items at once. The sortcraft console command allows sorting inventory lists by name, type, weight, count, or original order. The feather cape jump height boost is removed and transferred to the Lightfoot Mead, while the Berserkir axe secondary attack stamina cost increases from 28 to 32.
