THE FINALS Update 5.7.0 Removes Broken Contract

THE FINALS Update 5.7.0 drops new cosmetic sets and removes a broken gadget elimination contract while setting the stage for the mid-season balance patch.

Update 5.7.0 arrives in THE FINALS with new cosmetic bundles and a fix for a faulty weekly contract. Developer Embark Studios notes that a larger mid-season balance patch arrives soon in Update 5.8.

Contract Adjustments

Embark Studios removed the contract requiring players to eliminate five opponents from 30 meters or more using gadgets because it failed to track progress correctly. Players who had this active contract received a replacement assignment.

New Store Items

The update introduces the Hairy Hiker Set, featuring a full outfit, beastly gun charm, sticker, and a custom emote. Also available is the Sunstone Set, which covers weapons in weathered stone, creeping vines, and golden emblems.
