TerraScape Update 2.2.0.4 Introduces Crossplay and Shared Leaderboards
TerraScape update 2.2.0.4 connects Steam, Epic, and GOG players with full crossplatform multiplayer and shared leaderboards, alongside medieval deck-cover reworks and bug fixes.
TerraScape update 2.2.0.4 arrives ahead of the game's Epic platform release, opening up multiplayer and leaderboards across multiple storefronts.
Crossplatform Play and Leaderboards
Multiplayer matches now operate across Steam, Epic, and GOG clients. Leaderboards are combined across these platforms as well. Technical limitations require the removal of handmade player banners from the monthly challenge winner's podium.
Decks and UI Adjustments
Medieval deck covers have been reworked. Building cards now display deck icons and colors instead of deck names, and the building and deck icons in the scroll bar have been merged. Handheld readability improvements are also included for devices like the Steam Deck.
Ancient Egypt DLC and Gameplay Fixes
A loading screen issue on older Ancient Egypt save files after uninstalling the DLC has been resolved. The update also stops undo from being available after trading or crafting in Monuments and Ancient Egypt, preventing invalid card stacks. Additional fixes correct Monument craft button behavior, async biome states after floods in multiplayer, and lotus placement rules.
Events and Tutorials
The patch adds an October challenge, a Halloween special event, a multiplayer tutorial, and a fix for missing tutorials in Ancient Egypt DLC puzzles. Localization for cross-platform play and the glossary have also been improved.
Why this patch matters
Update 2.2.0.4 unifies the player base across PC storefronts while clearing out lingering save and card-crafting bugs.
