TerraScape Patch 2.0.0.5 Fixes Multiplayer Save Syncs and Map Editor Puzzles

Bitfall Studios rolls out TerraScape Patch 2.0.0.5, addressing massive multiplayer save game synchronization issues and puzzle map corruption risks. The update also improves stone resource readability, fixes ESC panel bugs, and previews Ancient Egypt service biome guides.

TerraScape Patch 2.0.0.5 targets critical stability issues, resolving infinite loading screens on large multiplayer save files and correcting puzzle map corruption risks in the Map Editor.

Save State and Multiplayer Fixes

Large multiplayer save games that previously failed to load or sync with clients, resulting in infinite loading screens, are now fully functional. Player diamond balances are corrected to reflect accurate counts, and the ESC key and gamepad back buttons now close panels properly without instantly triggering the pause menu.

Map Editor and Building Corrections

Map creators should inspect Workshop puzzle maps to fix stacked buildings and prevent map corruption. Manor Farms now correctly remove blockers. Fields receive their missing diamond rating, Plazas become buildable on the Highlands biome, and buildings placed on the Nile correctly move with the river surface in the Map Editor.

Visual and Balance Tweaks

Stone resources and quarry illustrations feature improved readability. Demolish penalty balancing for merged buildings receives adjustments, and an upcoming Ancient Egypt preview adds a Game Guide site tracking which buildings generate specific service biomes.

Why this patch matters

Patch 2.0.0.5 delivers vital structural repairs for TerraScape, securing multiplayer save synchronization and giving map builders the tools needed to clean up legacy custom content.
