TerraScape Crossplay Update 2.2.0.4 Adds Crossplatform Multiplayer

TerraScape Update v2.2.0.4 brings crossplatform multiplayer across Steam, Epic, and GOG alongside shared leaderboards, new events, and Ancient Egypt bug fixes.

TerraScape Update 2.2.0.4 connects players across storefronts and implements backend changes.

Crossplay and Leaderboards

Multiplayer works across Steam, Epic, and GOG using EOS backend logic. Leaderboards are shared across all supported platforms, though handmade banners have been removed from the monthly challenge winner podium due to technical limitations.

Events and Content

The update adds an October Challenge, a Halloween special event, and a dedicated multiplayer tutorial. Medieval deck covers are reworked, and building cards now use deck icons and colors instead of names.

Ancient Egypt and Quality of Life

Steam Deck handheld readability is improved. Ancient Egypt fixes resolve stuck loading screens on older saves, invalid undo stacks after trading or crafting, and unresponsive craft buttons. Alluvial and Hapi biome states sync correctly between hosts and clients after floods, and lotus placement on fish is blocked.

Why this patch matters

Update 2.2.0.4 unifies the player base across platforms while cleaning up co-op and DLC bugs in TerraScape.
