Teardown Version 1.6 Adds Third-Person Camera and Playable Characters
Teardown version 1.6 introduces a third-person camera perspective, a roster of unlockable characters, and new modding animation tools.
Tuxedo Labs has launched Teardown version 1.6, adding a third-person perspective and a selection of playable characters from the Löckelle universe.
Third-Person Perspective
Players can toggle between first and third-person camera views. All in-game tools, vehicles, and official post-launch content are updated to support the new perspective.
Playable Characters and Ragdolls
Players can select from a roster of unique characters from the Löckelle universe, some of which require completing in-game objectives to unlock. Additionally, Merlin, a spawnable ragdoll, is available in the spawn menu for demolition experiments.
Modding API Updates
Modders have access to animation capabilities through the Modding API, allowing creators to build, share, and play as custom characters.
Why this patch matters
The character update expands how players interact with Teardown's destructive sandboxes by opening up fresh viewpoints and modding tools.
