Star Conflict Update 1.12.8a Celebrates Decade With Balance Pass and Marathons
Star Conflict celebrates its tenth anniversary with a massive update introducing the Survival mode ship roster expansion, anniversary tasks marathons, and a sweeping balance pass for numerous ships and weapons. Players can also participate in Golden battles and acquire festive rewards through September 11.
Star Conflict marks its tenth anniversary with update 1.12.8a, bringing a broad series of celebrations, community rewards, and combat adjustments. Running from August 29 through September 11, the update introduces anniversary task marathons, Golden battles, and extensive tweaks to ship performance and weaponry across the Fringe Sectors.
Survival Mode and Ship Adjustments
Survival mode now features ships from previous season battle passes, opening up new tactical options for players. Alongside this mode update, developers implemented numerous balance adjustments. The Pilum interceptor receives a 5 percent speed bonus at experience level 1, alongside increased energy regeneration and pool size to match the Kusarigama. The Hammerhead hull points increase by 21 percent, while the Pirate gravi-beamer sees its damage increased by 20 percent from 505 to 606. The Nailer gun receives a massive 50 percent damage increase, and the Fury plasma gun jumps by 20 percent.
Weaponry and Module Tweaks
The RF Blaster Inferno gains a speed increase from 2500 to 3200 m/s alongside a 25 percent damage boost. Its Forced cooler and Orion targeting complex now enter recharge if another module is activated, while its Heat flux optimization damage increase rises from 15 to 40 percent. The Ice dart launcher features a flight speed increase from 1300 to 2200 m/s and a trigger radius expansion from 100 to 120 meters. Invincible, Archon, and Procyon capacitors have their restoration time cut from 50 to 32 seconds. Autonomous battle station missile damage increases by 50 percent, and Radiation fog missile drop rates in Open space go up.
Ellydium and Defensive Upgrades
Ellydium equipment receives targeted buffs to improve survivability and throughput. The Virtual particle condenser repairs after jumping increase from 295 to 395 points. The Phase demodulator gets a major boost, raising shield regeneration from 1162 to 2261 points and increasing maximum regeneration from 4648 to 11305 points while expanding stacks from 4 to 5. Bug fixes resolve an incorrect weapon type for the Yith'Ver generator and correct the description for the Radiation fog missile.
Anniversary Events and Marathons
The anniversary tasks marathon runs specific daily challenges from September 2 to September 8, granting rewards such as premium licenses, monocrystals, xenocrystals, and exceptional seed-chips. Completing all assignments yields the unique title The steadfast tin pilot, the Empire rank 13 recon interceptor Wasp, and exclusive colorings. Additionally, Golden battles run from September 2 to September 11, allowing pilots to earn up to 500 Galactic Standards based on match victories.
