SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed Patch 1.5 Fixes Exploits and Visuals
SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed has received Patch 1.5, introducing settings to disable player trails, correcting hitboxes, and removing custom lobby timers. The update also addresses several gameplay exploits and display bugs.
Patch 1.5 for SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed brings concrete adjustments to visual customization, hitbox accuracy, and lobby rules. Developers rolled out these changes to clean up known exploits and provide clearer feedback for crossplay lobbies.
Visuals and Customization
Players can toggle off other players trails through a new settings option. If a user attempts to join a crossplay private lobby with this trail setting turned off, the game displays a notification stating that crossplay is not active. An issue that inadvertently disabled opponent outlines is resolved, and typos inside the Glossary entry for the Crate are corrected.
Gameplay and Lobby Tweaks
The update adjusts the Shockwave hitbox to line up with its visual animation. In custom lobbies, the match timer is removed. The patch fixes the Slope Surf exploit that permitted players to use Taunts during the movement technique.
