Sker Ritual Update v.1.2.0 Adds Console Keyboard and Mouse Support

Wales Interactive releases Sker Ritual patch v.1.2.0, adding keyboard and mouse support to consoles, reducing melee cooldowns, and nerfing boss stats for the Squid Lord and Y Cracen. A temporary plus fifty percent XP weekend accompanies the release.

Wales Interactive has pushed out Sker Ritual patch v.1.2.0 across all platforms alongside a temporary experience boost. The update introduces keyboard and mouse functionality for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S users, unlocks menu music tracks upon completing specific maps, and applies extensive balance adjustments to weapons and bosses.

Combat and Progression Tweaks

Melee weapons recover 40 percent faster after dealing damage. Rate of fire modifiers no longer lock up player attacks after speeding up animations. The More Gun perk now applies ammo capacity increases to weapons already held rather than only newly picked up firearms. Additionally, invite codes no longer generate zero or capital O characters to prevent entry confusion.

Boss and Map Adjustments

The Squid Lord boss fight receives a 30 percent health reduction and a fix for slow-motion movement bugs. The Y Cracen boss deals less damage with its waterball attack waves at higher difficulty tiers. Tides of Terror adjustments remove wooden posts from boats and props to open up movement paths, swap out ship hatches for collapsible wood, and fix collision errors in cave doors.

Hidden Objective and Quest Fixes

Deadly Lover's Fortress no longer locks up during the Elisabeth boss encounter or allows premature interaction with the Fire and Ice step. Sewers of the Dead progression blocks tied to elixir miracles during hidden objectives are resolved. Target positions, enemy ambush spawn numbers, and weapon upgrade menu visuals for Shattering Edge also receive corrections.

Why this patch matters

Patch v.1.2.0 addresses major community pain points by smoothing out high-level boss fights, fixing broken quest triggers, and opening up control options for console players.
