Sker Ritual Patch 1.2.2 Delivers Boot-Up Optimizations and Community Tribute
Patch 1.2.2 for Sker Ritual cuts boot-up times across all platforms, resolves map-specific progression blocks, and adds a permanent speedrunner tribute.
Wales Interactive released patch 1.2.2 for Sker Ritual, targeting loading optimizations, specific boss fight bugs, and a community memorial. The update is live on all platforms and requires manual installation if automatic downloads fail.
Optimization and Performance
Boot-up times are faster across all platforms. Additional performance adjustments target NPC physics and general level geometry.
Progression and Map Fixes
Specific map progression blocks are resolved. A hidden music objective in Deadly Lover's Fortress no longer gets stuck, and players are no longer trapped inside boss rooms after finishing hidden objectives in House of the Damned. White reflection bugs in the Morgue menu background and The Stranger boss fight are gone.
UI and Settings Adjustments
Controller options feature a scaled-up controller image, and Flip Triggers is renamed to Invert Fire. Party text is disabled in-game during solo pause menus, and the Christmas seasonal event is turned off.
Community Tribute
The development team added an in-game tribute to community speedrunner DopeyMercury790. Players can locate the memorial inside House of the Damned alongside a special player icon featuring Dopey's dark wolf avatar.
Why this patch matters
Patch 1.2.2 cleans up lingering progression hurdles while honoring a dedicated member of the speedrunning community.
