Sker Ritual Patch 1.2.1 Introduces Tides of Terror Pass and Christmas Content
Wales Interactive releases Sker Ritual patch 1.2.1, adding the Tides of Terror Sker Pass, festive hidden objectives, and base game performance upgrades. The update also brings previous console bug fixes live.
Wales Interactive launches patch 1.2.1 for Sker Ritual, introducing the nautical-themed Tides of Terror Sker Pass alongside holiday decorations, performance optimizations for base hardware, and a round of previous console bug fixes.
Tides of Terror Sker Pass and Holiday Events
The new Sker Pass brings seven masks, including a shark theme, five voice lines, four player icons, two menu backgrounds, and new menu music. A Christmas hidden objective is live in the Deadly Lover's Fortress, featuring festive lights, gifts, and a holiday-themed Saint Balor. Hidden music objectives also gain new arrangements.
Performance and Optimization
Base game levels receive optimization passes to prepare for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases. These adjustments improve frame rates and reduce rare performance glitches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, while providing minor improvements for mid-to-high-end PC setups.
Console Bug Fixes
Fixes previously deployed on Steam now arrive on consoles. These changes address an incorrect hitbox on a Tides of Terror hidden objective orb, prevent a soft-lock in House of the Damned during the Hearts of the sons objective, fix unlooping hidden menu songs, and resolve a geometry fall-through bug on stairs in Sewers of the Dead. The online inactivity timer increases to thirty minutes.
Why this patch matters
Patch 1.2.1 bridges the gap between PC and console bug fixes while delivering seasonal content and foundational performance work.
