Sker Ritual Anniversary Update Adds New Hidden Objective, Cross-Gen Support, and Double XP
Sker Ritual celebrates its anniversary with a game-wide hidden objective, console ports for PS4 and Xbox One, and a week of double XP.
Wales Interactive deployed an update for Sker Ritual to mark the anniversary of its exit from early access. The patch introduces a game-wide hidden objective, brings the game to previous-generation consoles, and runs a week-long double XP event alongside technical improvements.
New Anniversary Content and Rewards
A new hidden objective ties the Demon Lamb and Y Cracen together across all maps with new boss mechanics. Completing the challenge grants The Egg, a fluorescent demonic mask with a swirling animation. A limited-time Ser Abraham mask is available for two weeks.
Console Expansion and Tech Upgrades
The game launches on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X with dedicated demo versions. PC and supported systems receive monitor selection support, spatial-temporal post-processing upscaling, and DLSS 3 integration for NVIDIA cards.
Networking and Quality of Life
A new Host Region option in networking settings lets players override private match hosting regions and pick matchmaking preferences. Matchmaking can now expand its map search if queues run long. The ping system includes contextual icons, and cross-platform UI icons are larger.
Weapon Balancing and Bug Fixes
The Plague weapon's damage increases from 280 to 360. Framerate-dependent camera recoil issues are fixed, and matchmaking no longer strands players searching for specific maps. Additional fixes address broken revive orbs and inventory desyncs in multiplayer.
Why this patch matters
The Anniversary Update delivers substantial new content and technical additions for both veterans and returning console players.
