Silly Suspects v1.0 Update Leaves Early Access With New Voices, Achievements, and Reworked Crimes
Silly Suspects exits Early Access with patch v1.0, consolidating previous updates while adding unique NPC voices, signage, achievements, and gameplay balancing.
Silly Suspects leaves Early Access with the v1.0 release. This update brings together previous community-driven additions into a single launch build alongside a 20 percent launch discount.
Investigations and Crime Rework
The crime system features new charges, updated wanted poster text, and multiple outcomes depending on whether you catch the suspect. Failed cases present different consequences each time. Citizen clues are rewritten so that suspects who love an item can be directly eliminated if a clue states the criminal hates it.
World and Audio Overhaul
Every NPC features a unique voice through a rebuilt dialogue system. Town buildings display signage boards with unique graphics at their entrances, and trees sway in the wind. Crime scene evidence fades in as players get closer and features pulsing golden outlines. Five new crime items join the pool, including antique fans and water cooler jugs.
Achievements and Quality of Life
The game adds 29 Steam achievements that sync progress across sessions. Video and control settings include a Field of View slider, Frame Rate Cap, VSync toggle, and Mouse Sensitivity adjustments. Audio sliders control voices, sound effects, and UI independently.
Why this patch matters
The v1.0 release packages months of community feedback into a detective game launch.
