Satisfactory Update v1.0.0.5 Brings Building Clearance Boxes and Blueprint Fixes
Satisfactory version v1.0.0.5 introduces default building clearance visualization boxes, performance improvements for lightweight subsystems, and numerous multiplayer crash fixes.
Update v1.0.0.5 for Satisfactory arrives with community-requested bug fixes, performance improvements, and interface adjustments. This patch re-adds building clearance visualization boxes by default with a toggle to disable them, resolves several persistent multiplayer crashes, and updates community translations.
Interface and Gameplay Adjustments
Building clearance visualization boxes are now enabled by default, though players can turn them off in the settings. The update adds distinct equipment sounds for the Jetpack. In multiplayer sessions, a bug where nudging stopped working for आंब the host has been fixed, along with an issue where leaving a session without respawning caused players to lose their inventory upon rejoining. The Efficiency first achievement for unlocking all milestones now unlocks correctly on the Epic Games Launcher, and Ascend or Descend inputs no longer get stuck when opening menus while using the Hoverpack.
Blueprints and Performance
Developers optimized the Lightweight Subsystem to prevent massive performance drops when hovering large blueprint holograms over existing buildables. Several critical blueprint issues are resolved, including a bug where loading a blueprint in a designer loaded it across all previously interacted designers, and crashes tied to dismantling conveyor belts, pipelines, and railways. Pipeline and conveyor belt self-merging exploits using junctions or splitters have been eliminated, and pipeline floor hole disconnections during upgrades or downgrades are fixed.
World and Multiplayer Fixes
Gas Pillar smoke lingering effects are fully resolved across the entire game world. Players can now mine resource deposits inside Spore Flower gas safely. Train networks receive several fixes, stopping locomotives from displaying incorrect movement in multiplayer, correcting Drone Station names and duplicate allowances, and preventing train signals from disconnecting from tracks during placement.
Modding and Dedicated Servers
Modding tools receive fixes for FSimpleBuildingInfo export issues, Microsoft-specific extensions in FactoryGame.h, and UFGBlueprintFunctionLibrary::BreakDynamicStruct return values. An API is added for the new Lightweight Buildable Subsystem. For dedicated servers, an issue where advanced game settings transferred unintentionally between saves during new session creation has been corrected.
Why this patch matters
Update v1.0.0.5 delivers practical quality-of-life adjustments and stability improvements that clean up the building experience without altering core progression.
