Ratatan v1.1.9 Update Adds Episodes 3 and 4

Ratatan version 1.1.9 introduces final story chapters, new boss encounters, cross-platform matchmaking, and a wide array of bug fixes. Players can now progress through Episodes 3 and 4 to reach the story's conclusion and face assembleable Dark Ratatan.

The story reaches its destination in Ratatan version 1.1.9. This update brings the final chapters of the adventure, new boss fights, cross-platform support, and quality-of-life adjustments designed to smooth out progression.

Story Progression and Bosses

Episodes 3 and 4 are now playable. Clearing Episode 2 unlocks Episode 3, which leads to Episode 4 and the final boss in World 6. Four new Dark Ratatan bosses appear from Episode 3 onward: Shellshock, Panda Monium, The Bamboozler, and Tangletung. Defeating the final boss unlocks the ending and allows players to carry over save data to replay any episode.

Matchmaking and Platforms

Cross-platform matchmaking is supported across Steam, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S. The full version also supports achievements on Steam.

Weapons and Loot

New Mythic weapons, accessories, items, and dedicated Decorune are available. These items drop from story content in Episode 3 and beyond and apply to the fourth stage of weapon limit breaks. The weapon level cap moves from 90 to 100, and the drop rate for Mythic weapons in Episode 2 is increased.

Interface and Bug Fixes

Tutorials are added for Episodes 3 and 4, and the save-data deletion screen defaults its cursor to No instead of Yes. Numerous bugs affecting suspend saves, rhythm judgments, multiplayer desyncs, and UI elements are resolved.
