Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Releases Y11S3.2 Balancing Patch
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege patch Y11S3.2 brings balance adjustments for Noor, Tachanka, and Solid Snake alongside bug fixes for gameplay, operators, and user experience.
The Y11S3.2 balancing patch for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege implements the changes outlined in the mid-season designer notes, paired with technical bug fixes for operators, audio, and the user interface.
Core Balance Changes
Noor's Horus Lance Launcher receives drilling time reductions to 1.5 seconds against ballistic shields, soft surfaces, and solid surfaces. Guard break strength against ballistic shields increases to 100 percent, equip timings drop to 0.4 seconds, impact damage rises to 80, and the weapon can now damage ballistic shield operators during their removal animation. Tachanka's Shumikha Launcher gains an impact-triggered firing mode. Solid Snake's Soliton Radar Mk III precision mode charges drop to 3 from 4. Valkyrie's loadout adds the Glaive-12 secondary weapon. Capitão's Fire Bolt expansion delay falls to 0.9 seconds. Clash's CCE Shield Mk2 increases retreat slowdown to 10 percent. Osa's Talon-8 Clear Shield features reduced deployment restrictions, and environmental fire damage increases to 14 hp. Barbed Wire now stops and self-destructs BU-GIs.
Bug Fixes and Technical Adjustments
Defenders no longer lose points for destroying their own Barbed Wire. Operator fixes address an oversized hitbox and reticle opacity issue for Noor's Horus Lance, and correct Osa's Talon-8 Shield right button display. User experience fixes resolve locker navigation issues above the open now button, ensure newcomers receive a recruit rewards pop-up without rebooting, and stabilize the voice chat indicator. Audio fixes stop the drilling sound from playing when Noor's Horus Lance projectiles are destroyed by electrified Barbed Wire.
Why this patch matters
Patch Y11S3.2 translates the mid-season design goals into the live game while cleaning up lingering audio and UI issues.
