Rainbow Six Siege Y9S3 Patch Notes Addendum Details Comprehensive Bug Fixes
Ubisoft's Rainbow Six Siege Y9S3 test server addendum fixes dozens of gameplay, operator, and level design bugs, including major adjustments for Skopós and privacy mode nicknames.
Ubisoft has released the Y9S3 patch notes addendum for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, cataloging fixes tested on the seasonal test server. Platform download sizes range from 4.06GB on Ubisoft Connect up to 9.2GB on PlayStation 4.
Privacy Mode Update
To give players a clean slate under privacy settings, all existing nicknames utilizing the 'Appear as nickname' feature have been automatically renamed to 'Recruit'.
Operator and Skopós Adjustments
Skopós receives numerous fixes regarding shell-swapping desyncs, incorrect UI element behaviors during drone control, and unintended elimination counts when idle shells are destroyed in Map Run. Deimos can no longer reload his Vendetta pistol instantly by cancelling animations, Nøkk's gadget interactions with Mute's signal disruptors are repaired, and Azami's Kiba Barrier can no longer pass through reinforced walls.
Gameplay and AI Fixes
Operator cards disappearing when eliminations happen during caster cam first-person views have been resolved. AI bots on maps like Oregon, Kafe Dostoyevsky, and Bank will no longer get stuck moving through specific doorways or reinforce incorrect walls during prep phases.
Level Design and Collision Corrections
Developers resolved multiple clipping, vaulting, and out-of-bounds issues across maps such as Consulate, Lair, Favela, Oregon, Border, Villa, Clubhouse, Stadium Bravo, Coastline, House, Theme Park, and Kanal. Unintended lines of sight through destroyed floors and floating barricades on windows and doorways have also been patched out.
Why this patch matters
This bug fix addendum polishes interactions for recent operators like Skopós while clearing out collision exploits and AI navigation faults across competitive maps.
