Pony Island 2 Beta Testing Opens on Discord Alongside Panda Circus Teasers

Pony Island 2 has opened a closed beta test on Discord. Developer Daniel also confirmed there are no demo plans.

Pony Island 2 is now in closed beta testing on Discord. Community manager Secundus outlined the initial player response alongside new teasers, a soundtrack, and developer comments on pre-orders and demos.

Beta Testing Underway on Discord

Select players on the official Discord server are testing Pony Island 2. Secundus noted receiving over 350 bug reports and messages overnight as players broke game elements and found hidden details.

No Demo or Pre-Orders Planned

Developer Daniel stated that a public demo is not currently planned because building one requires unique elements and data-mined asset purges. Daniel also stated he sees little benefit in pre-orders.

New Teasers and Soundtrack

The May update introduces teasers set in an area named Vasilisa, which uses deduction elements similar to The Case of the Golden Idol. The update also shows the Panda Circus location and a new soundtrack.

Why this patch matters

The project is in active testing, with the developer focusing entirely on completing the full game rather than building a demo.
