Polymorphite PGD 1.1.0 Update Brings Custom Bindings and QoL Additions

Polymorphite version PGD 1.1.0 introduces customizable keyboard bindings, pause menu support for rhythm battles, and a slate of interface upgrades based on player feedback.

The Polymorphite demo has been updated to version PGD 1.1.0. This release tackles community feedback by adding quality-of-life options, fixing timing and input bugs, and adjusting rhythm chart balance.

Rhythm Battle Interface and Controls

Pressing ESCAPE during rhythm battles now opens a pause menu instead of exiting the session entirely. Players can customize keyboard bindings directly from the options menu. The update adds beat lines to the playfield, a playfield combo display, and an exact battle health option that displays the enemy exact life value instead of decryption percentage. Default scroll speed now starts at 7 instead of 5.

Song Select and Chart Balancing

Double-clicking a song in the select menu starts it immediately, and the song select UI has received adjustments. Difficulty levels are rebalanced: kuiper wandering drops from 2 to 1, and just for the weekend drops from 11 to 10. Note designs on Dayglass are updated to match its 11 difficulty rating. Visual designs for most note types and hazards are adjusted, and hazard damage is slightly reduced.

Menus, Modules, and Bug Fixes

Module names are renamed to Aqua, Crimson, and Fuchsia. Wishlist and exit buttons are added to the title menu, along with a set button for character lists and a stackable value for concepts. The update fixes unavoidable missed chip notes on Dayglass, timing calculation errors, a default FPS target bug of 480, sound effect volume obedience for player damage and held notes, and a tutorial typo regarding red hazards.

Why this patch matters

Version PGD 1.1.0 makes Polymorphite easier to play with navigation fixes and customizable inputs.
